Many things in life can be confusing, and finding your spiritual path is one of them. Feeling lost and uncertain about what you should do next is normal.

As I’m going through a divorce, relocated, had major surgery, looking for financial stability through career changes, turned 50, and wondering what my place is in the world, I’m looking for my spiritual path. I’m becoming the crone. What am I supposed to do next?

The good news is that there is no wrong or right way to find your spiritual path; it’s all about discovering what intuitively feels best for you. For me, it’s plugging into the spiritual groups and magick shops I’m discovering in my new life in Nebraska. I’m fortunate that my son and his wife transport me and chaperone me to these places and events while I can’t walk or drive. I’m practicing my craft — and they generously allow me to share that with their children.

The witch in me is coming out to play. I’m blossoming in the face of chaos.

What is Spirituality, and Why Do People Seek it Out?

Spirituality can mean different things to different people, but at its core, it’s is about a search for meaning and purpose in life. It is about connecting with something larger than yourself and the journey of self-discovery.

For some people, spirituality is about a specific religion or set of beliefs. For others, it’s more about a general sense of connectedness and well-being. And for still others, it is a combination of both.

There are many reasons why people seek out spirituality. Some people seek a way to connect with others who share their values and beliefs. Others are searching for guidance and direction in their lives. And some are simply seeking a sense of peace and calm in a chaotic world. For me, it’s all three.

Whatever the reason, spirituality can be a powerful force for good in our lives. It can help us find meaning and purpose, connect with others, and lead happier, healthier, and more fulfilling lives.
